MICHELE WHITE

Michele's training on leaving school was in ceramics. She then taught until her children were born and retrained as a designer jeweller. Her philosophy in jewellery making and design is a mixture of art and craft. She draws her inspiration from the Art Nouveau movement, particularly the philosophy of Rene Lalique mixing gemstones of value with others of beauty but little value. Silver and 18ct gold are frequently used together. Her jewellery has an organic movement, combining beauty and function.
