London Design Festival 2017: Kaleidoscope Urban: Architecture 1

Kaleidoscope Urban: Architecture 1

Brutalist Architecture enjoyed its heydey from the 1950s to 1970s.  These imposing buildings are often made of exposed concrete and their raw honesty is a contrast to the more decorative forms of architecture.  Cardinal of London has taken these qualities and used them as the inspiration behind this piece for Kaleidoscope Urban.

Ring, sterling silver

The rings facets and sharp edges are inspired by brutalist architecture found in urban environments.
